Scheduling Policies

For your convenience, appointments may be scheduled, rescheduled or cancelled 24/7 by visiting www.mathtutortj.com/schedule. This is the preferred scheduling method.
Cancellations
If it’s necessary to cancel or reschedule for any reason please call, email or text at least 12 hours before the scheduled time. If your appointment is 12 or more hours away, you may utilize the online scheduler to cancel or reschedule. Less than 12 hours you must call, text or email me at 216.282.3840.
Please keep in mind that short notice (less than 12 hours) cancellations affect your progress and my availability to assist other students. Please keep them to a minimum, more than two short notice cancellations within 60 days (or Booster Mod) will result in a fee equal to your hourly rate and/or prepayment status only.
Last Minute Cancellations: Except in extreme emergency situations (as verified by hospital discharge papers) any and every cancellation with less than 2 hour notice will result in a fee equal to your hourly rate. No Exceptions
No Call /No Shows will be charged $50. No Exceptions. Repeated No Call /No Shows will be barred from scheduling future appointments.
Severe Weather Exceptions- To ensure the health and safety of my clients, a session may be rescheduled without penalty in the event of severe weather. I cancel sessions when there’s a Snow day in Cleveland Heights, blizzard/winter storm warnings or an expected wind chill below -5◦F.
LATE ARRIVALS
One student late without notice, makes it inconvenient for students that follow. Therefore, as soon as you know that you’re going to be more than 5 minutes late, please call or text me.
Late arrivals will not be provided with an extension of tutoring time but other arrangements may be available. If you let me know AHEAD OF TIME.
Unless prior arrangements have been made, student appointments will be cancelled and billed as a NO SHOW after 15 minutes.
LATE PICKUPS
Unless prior arrangements are made, a late pick-up fee of $1/minute will be imposed if a student remains with me longer than 20 minutes after their scheduled ending time. This fee is due by credit card or cash within 24 hours.
RELAXATION OF TERMS
No relaxation, indulgence, waiver of any of the terms of this agreement on one occasion shall prevent the subsequent enforcement of such rights and shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any subsequent breach of any of the terms.
